Copper wire stolen.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported a theft of approximately 150 feet of copper wire from Wolverine Power at Decker and Tyndall roads, Thursday, Oct. 6, at 1:45 p.m.

Other police activity Thursday includes:

  • 1:19 a.m., (MCSO), a 37-year-old Muskegon Heights man was arrested for probation violation following a 911 call reporting a reported intoxicated/unwanted person in Walmart, 4800 block of W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 10:21 a.m., (MCSO), identity theft, victim reported receiving information from an out-of-area bank advising the victim of a checking account taken out in the victim’s name, 100 block of South Darr Road, Custer Township.
  • 2:42 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), domestic assault, 200 block of East Pere Marquette Highway, City of Ludington.
  • 5:07 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 5:55 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $16.75 in fuel stolen, Airport Shell, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:05 p.m., (LPD), criminal sexual conduct (CSC), North Atkinson Drive, City of Ludington.
  • 7:20 p.m., (MCSO), a 53-year-old Branch man was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 10 and Benson Road, Branch Township.
  • 9:19 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property – mailbox, 1000 block of North Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
