79th District Court sentencings.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in 79th District Court:

-Lauren Charlene Spinner, 25, 2516 N. US 31, Sherman Township, pleaded guilty on September 28 to second-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 120 days in jail with credit for 120 days already served, one year discretionary jail for two years, and $535 in fines and costs. May perform 53 hours of community service in lieu of paying fines and costs.

-Tamara DeLynn Yeargan, 47, 602 E. Melendy St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on September 30 to failure to display a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to 22 days in jail with credit for 22 days already served. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State. In exchange for her guilty plea, a charge of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

-Kimberly Ann Barrentine, 25, 1010 Oakgrove Veterans Dr., Apt. 1, Manistee, pleaded guilty on September 28 to second-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days already served, one year discretionary jail for one year, and $535 in fines and costs.

-Thomas Richard Conrad, 29, 7776 Jeddo Rd., Greenwood, Michigan, pleaded guilty on October 3 to snagging fish/illegally taking fish and was sentenced to pay a fine of $375.

-Rex Allen Otis, 49, 563 Ray Quincy Rd., Quincy, Michigan, pleaded guilty on October 3 to illegal fishing gear/retaining a foul hooked fish and was sentenced to pay a fine of $220.

-Brian Marshall Bergers, 37, 9655 Peninsula Dr., Grant, pleaded guilty on October 3 to careless ORV driving and was sentenced to pay a fine of $285.

-Nicholas Lee Pierce, 41, 5660 Brunswick Rd., Holton, pleaded guilty on October 3 to having an open intoxicant on an ORV and was sentenced to pay a fine of $265.

-Joseph Paul Oquist, 54, 106 E. Melendy St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on September 29 to loud music/disturbing the peace and was sentenced to pay a fine of $285.
