HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 57-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 5:45 p.m. after he reportedly ran the boat he was operating into the back of a docked boat at the Ludington State Park boat launch on Hamlin Lake, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “There were no injuries reported and moderate damage to both boats,” Cole said.

Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016:

  • 11:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), fraud, 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:15 p.m., (MSP), a 23-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant, Lincoln and Mavis roads, Hamlin Township.

Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016:

  • 6:45 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain and Peterson roads, Victory Township.
  • 2:05 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10-31 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 6:47 p.m., (MCSO), a 17-year-old Custer woman was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Branch Township.
