Custer sex offender allegedly contacts children via Facebook.

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — A warrant is being requested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for a 34-year-old Custer man for violating the sex offender registration act after he allegedly “contacted minor children using an unregistered Facebook Page,” stated Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies were dispatched Friday, Aug. 12, at 8:50 p.m. to the 3000 block of North Custer Road after the sheriff’s office was alerted via “Offender Watch” of a sex offender, Cole said.
