CUSTER TOWNSHIP — Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a rollover crash that occurred Sunday, July 31 at 1:08 a.m. at Hansen and Custer roads, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“A 26-year-old Custer man lost control of the vehicle he was driving, went off the road into a ditch and rolled over,” said Cole. “Both he and his 26-year-old passenger from Pensacola Florida were transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.”

The men’s names have not yet been released.

• 11:26 p.m., (MCSO), a 22-year-old Chicago man was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop, Washington and Tinkham avenues, City of Ludington.
