Pair arrested for marijuana possession; several crashes.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 20-year-old Ludington woman and a 29-year-old Ludington man were arrested by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police for marijuana possession Thursday, July 7, at 9:57 p.m. on M 116 near Piney Ridge Road.

Other police activity Thursday includes:

  • 1:03 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 west of US 31, Amber Township.
  • 1:19 p.m., (MCSO), a 59-year-old Vestaburg man was treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after the motorcycle he was operating rear-ended a vehicle which was stopped for a traffic light, US 10 and Pere Marquette Hwy., PM Township.
  • 5:55 p.m., (MCSO), a 21-year-old Grand Rapids woman was treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after her vehicle left the road and rolled over, Hawley Rd. near Brye Rd.,  Riverton Township.
  • 11:01 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain and Poplar roads, Sherman Township.
