SCOTTVILLE — Summerfest weekend begins Friday evening, July 8, in Scottville with a car cruise around the Scottville and Custer area. The car cruise is followed by music by Blindsided at the Scottville Clown Band Shell.

Saturday events include:

  • Car show on South Main Street, beginning at 9 a.m.
  • Scottville Area Senior Center strawberry social from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Mason County Family Events activities.
  • Beer sampling at the Bottle and Can from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Rubber Ducky Race at Riverside Park, 3 p.m.
