Driver receives minor injuries after rollover.

RIVERTON TWP. — A 21-year-old Scottville woman received minor injuries after her Cheverolet Tahoo rolled over on its top on Hawley Road east of Brye Road Thursday afternoon.

Mason County Sheriff’s Dep. John Balowski said the driver and a witness from another vehicle said she was westbound on Hawley Road when an eastbound truck, hauling a trailer, crossed the centerline, causing her to leave the roadway and thus rolling over the SUV. 

The truck did not stop after the crash. The female driver was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. 

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Riverton Twp. Fire Dept., Ludington Fire Dept. and Life EMS.
