Pistol stolen; ‘unwanted person’ at Applebee’s.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post are investigating a larceny of a pistol reported in the 9000 block of East US 10 Wednesday, June 15, at 8:30 p.m.

In a separate incident, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office is forwarding a report to Lake County Probation/Parole after a 37-year-old Baldwin man was found to be intoxicated, which is a violation of his probation, following a reported “unwanted person” call at Applebee’s restaurant on West US 10 in Amber Township Wednesday at 7:57 p.m.

– 12:49 a.m., (MCSO), a 25-year-old Fountain man was arrested for third-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, Hansen and Amber, Amber Township.

– 2:44 a.m., (MCSO), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 west of Jebavy, Pere Marquette Township.

– 2:29 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), assault, 500 block of W. Haight St., City of Ludington.

– 4:27 p.m., (MSP), breaking and entering of a residence, 7000 block of E. Sugar Grove Rd., Sheridan Township.

– 6:35 p.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Fountain man was arrested for unlawful transport of medical marijuana, Jebavy and Angling, Hamlin Township.

– 9:20 p.m., (MSP), two car/deer crashes, Jebavy and Lincoln, Hamlin Township.

– 10:30 p.m., (MCSO), probation violation, a report will be forwarded to Mason County Probation/Parole after a 17-year-old Mason County man was found to be violating his probation, 5700 block of W. Johnson, PM Township.

– 10:54 p.m., (LPD), suspicious situation, 700 block of N. Delia St., City of Ludington.
