Fountain woman arrested for marijuana possession.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 24-year-old Fountain woman was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop Thursday at 8:53 a.m. on US 10-31 near Stiles Road.

Other activity of local law enforcement for Thursday, June 9, 2016 included:

– 12:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police, Hart post), two-car property damage crash, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 5:40 p.m., (MCSO), hit-and-run crash, no injuries, First Street near Brye Road, Amber Township.

– 8:39 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant for failure to appear and a 36-year-old Baldwin man was arrested for operating without a license, US 10 and Poplar Road, Custer Township.
