Casting call for Jaycees Shakespeare festival.

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Area Jaycees will be holding an open casting call for its newest fundraising event, the Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival, on Saturday, May 21 from 3-6 p.m. and Sunday, May 22 from 2:30-6 p.m. at the Mason County District Library, Ludington branch, 217 E. Ludington Avenue.

The plays that have been chosen for the festival are Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and “As You Like It”. The performances will be held on Friday, August 26 through Sunday, August 28 and Friday, September 2 through Sunday, September 4 at Rotary Park (formerly City Park).
