LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Jake Ryan Ring, 24, of 142 S. Wildwood Trail, Apt. 17, Amber Township, was found guilty March 29 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; $1,135 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); no alcohol/drugs; and must submit to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

– Michael Marteell Dunlap, 32, of 922 LaFayette Ave., NE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty March 29 of malicious destruction of a building and sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for 32 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with the victim; $953.04 in fines, costs and restitution; and no alcohol/drugs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.

– Sean Russell Daugherty, 31, of 624 Forest Hills Circle, Amber Township, was found guilty March 29 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year; credit for time served; and $535 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Alexa Marie Gavrilides, 21, of 607 N. James St., Ludington, was found guilty March 29 of operating while impaired and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $870 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next VIP session; no alcohol/drugs; and must submit to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Jack Daniel Willoughby, 21, of 618 1/2 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty March 29 of use of marijuana and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 11 days served; $600 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance evaluation and follow recommendations; and must submit to random PBTs and drug tests. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Shane Michael Hough, 32, of 60 S. Densmore St., Muskegon, was found guilty March 29 of second-offense domestic violence and disorderly person – jostling and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $1,220 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years for count 1; 90 days discretionary jail for two years for count 2; credit for time served; must have a domestic violence/substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; within seven days, must sign up for Soberlink for one year; no alcohol/drugs; must submit to random PBTs and drug tests; and must attend AA twice a week for one year. Two counts of assault and battery were dismissed.

– Shawn Michael Babcock, 39, of 615 W. US 10, Amber Township, was found guilty March 29 of possession of marijuana and sentenced to $535 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; one year discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; and must submit to random PBTs and drugs tests. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Jeremy Jason Bonneau, 42, of 6765 Ann St., Ludington, was found guilty April 4 of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for three days served; $265 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Term runs concurrently with a Michigan Department of Corrections probation violation sentence. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Zachary Scott Mitchell, 33, of 5437 N. Angling Rd., Hamlin Township, was found guilty April 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $335 in fines and costs.

– Samuel Allen Mendez, 29, of 3210 S. Schwass Rd., Riverton Township, was found guilty April 1 of trespassing on railroad trains and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

– Chancey Norman Medema, 42, of 9184 W. Kinney Rd., Summit Township, was found guilty April 1 of trespassing on railroad trains and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

– Kyle Scott Janicki, 24, of 4035 Windward Forest Trail, Manistee, was found guilty April 1 of trespassing on railroad trains and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

– Bradley Daniel Gilman, 26, of 710 Third St., Ludington, was found guilty March 31 of improper plates and sentenced to $175 in fines and costs.

– Reeyna Bilal-Clinton Burrell, 24, of 210 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty April 4 of disorderly person – public intoxication and sentenced to 21 days in jai with credit for 21 days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; $285 in fines and costs; no alcohol/drugs; must submit to random PBTs; no contact with the victim; and is not to enter any establishment that serves alcohol by the glass.

– Jorge Luis Garcia-Hernandez, 21, of 2272 E. Sugar Grove Rd., Sherman Township, was found guilty March 22 of careless driving and sentenced to $225 in fines and costs. One count of operating while impaired was dismissed.
