LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court magistrate:

Felonies

Grimes

– Dijon Lamar Grimes, 19, of 19315 Benetler St., Detroit, was arrested March 3 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for five felony counts of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device without consent; one felony count of tobacco products tax act violation; and one felony count of identity theft. Probable cause hearing: March 16 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

Smith

– Thomas Earl Smith, 19, of 504 Fifth St., Ludington, was arrested March 1 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for two felony counts of delivery of a narcotic or cocaine less than 50 grams. Probable cause hearing: March 16 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/10 percent.

Zamora

– Xavier Ignacio Zamora, 22, of 1148 W. US 10-31, Amber Township, was arrested March 6 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police. Probable cause hearing: March 16 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
