Growth Alliance hosting summer job fairs for high schoolers.

March 1, 2016

The Mason County Growth Alliance will be hosting two summer job fairs for high school students in April — Friday, April 15 at Mason County Central High School and Friday, April 29 at Ludington High School.

The goal of this employment program is two-fold:

  • to help local employers meet their summertime staffing needs.
  • to help high school students find summer jobs, and ultimately start developing the employability skills that will make them successful in the future.

As a part of this program the growth alliance will be offering students crash courses in resume writing, networking and interview skills, workplace expectations, and other similar topics, while also pairing students up with a job coach who will serve as a resource to that student and their employer over the course of the summer employment period.

Those who would like to participate, may fill out this form and return it to Spence Riggs no later than Friday, April 8. You may also register online at http://goo.gl/forms/nCBXgM5Wg3.
