Program will address PM River invasive species.

pere marquette river signBALDWIN — Seth Herbst of Michigan Department of Natural Resources will give a presentation regarding invasive species, most notably the New Zealand Mudsnail, now rapidly establishing a presence in the Pere Marquette River on Tuesday, March 1 at 7 p.m. at Baldwin Elementary School gymnasium, 525 Fourth Street.

The program is being presented by the Pere Marquette River Chapter of Trout Unlimited (PMTU) and is open to the public.

Other representatives from organizations that have an interest in the PM River will also be at the program. A discussion will be held on how to potentially limit the spread of these invasive species.
