tim mckay blarney castleSCOTTVILLE — Tim McKay from Blarney Castle Oil Company was the keynote speaker at today’s Farmer Education Day, hosting by the Oceana, Mason-Lake and Manistee conservation districts at the Scottville Optimist Center. McKay spoke about farm fuel tank issues, such as using proper nozzles and the best locations to place fuel tanks.

The day long program featured a variety of topics including forest pest and disease management, pesticide regulations and safety, cover crops and healthy soil, deer management and more. Blarney Castle Oil Company was the event’s sponsor.’
