Lights and Love tree update-57-900LUDINGTON — Kaley Petersen (top) and Rose Jensen place the latest lights honoring and remembering loved ones on the Lights and Love Tree at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. The leaders of the hospital foundation are hoping to “fill the tree with love” during the holiday season.

They are now more than half way to their goal and are making one last pre-Christmas invitation to remember someone you love. Lights will stay on through Jan. 11. Names are displayed in the hospital lobby and on the Ludington electronic sign next to Ludington Ave.

Lights are $20, and your donation stays local and benefits The Family Birthing Center. “The holiday season is a time to celebrate loved ones and the joy of life. What a beautiful act to give the gift of love and support our local families,” said Petersen. To dedicate a light on the tree, visit the Spectrum Health Ludington Foundation web page or call 231.845.3633.
