Local couple arrested on SSCENT warrants

FREE SOIL TOWNSHIP — A 42-year-old Mason County man and his wife, a 42-year-old Mason County woman, were arrested on outstanding State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) warrants in the 7000 block of US 31 Thursday, Dec. 10, at 9:10 p.m. SSCENT was assisted by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.

– 1:02 a.m., (MCSO), a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 10 near Wildwood Trail, Amber Township.

– 6:49 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive and Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.

– 7:14 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 and Reek Road, Custer Township.
