5 to compete for Miss Ludington Area title.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Five women will be competing for the title of 2016 Miss Ludington Area during the annual scholarship pageant on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at West Shore Community College Center Stage Theater.

The contestants are from Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties and will be taking the stage to compete in talent, interview, fitness and evening wear for a chance to win the title of Miss Ludington Area was well as scholarship money and awards. The pageant will be awarding over $3,000 in scholarship money for local young women to use towards their education.

Miss Ludington Area 2015, Marie Cassandre MacDonnell, will hand over her crown and will be singing “I’m Feeling Good”.

Tickets are available for the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant through Friday at 5 p.m. for $10 at the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce office or online at MissLudingtonArea.org. Tickets will be available at the door for purchase on Saturday evening beginning at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
