51st Circuit Court sentencings

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Rial_Gary– Gary Edwin Rial, 63, of 7065 N. Dennis Rd., Victory Township, was found guilty Aug. 11 of possession of firearms and fourth-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced Oct. 20 to one year and four months to 25 years in prison, with credit for 212 days served, and $258 in fines and costs. In a separate file, he was found guilty of probation violation stemming from 2011 convictions of two counts of second-degree vulnerable adult abuse and third-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced currently to two to eight years in prison, with credit for 577 days served, $20,607 in restitution; and $1,066 in fines and costs.

– Jordon Michael Harris, 24, of 222 N. Fremont St., Fremont, was found guilty Sept. 9 of second-offense possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced Oct. 20 to one year and one month to 20 years in prison, with credit for 63 days served, and $258 in fines and costs,

Stahelin

– Scott Michael Stahelin, 45, of 5072 S. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 9 of first-degree retail fraud and third-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced Oct. 20 to one year and six months to 10 years in prison; $299.55 restitution; and $258 in fines and costs. Sentence runs consecutively to a parole violation term.

– Shawn William Paul, 46, of 710 Robinhood Lane, Grayling, Mich., was found guilty Aug. 11 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced Oct. 20 to one year in jail with credit for 139 days served and 93 days in jail with credit for 139 days served; two years probation; $1,158 in fines and costs; 60 days community service; and vehicle immobilization for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.

– Colton Clay Outcalt, 25, of 2443 Brunson Rd., Riverton Township, was found guilty Sept. 22 of possession of a non-narcotic. He was sentenced Oct. 20 to one year in jail with credit for 61 days served; serve 70 days up front with balance to be served at the court’s discretion; one year probation; $658 in fines and costs; and driver’s license suspended 30 days/restricted 150 days. One count of delivery/manufacture schedule four was dismissed.

– Donald Thomas Miller, 27, of 11526 Cadillac Ave., Warren, Mich., was found guilty Sept. 9 of controlled substance – obtaining by fraud. He was sentenced Oct. 20 to 330 days in jail with credit for 64 days served; serve four months up front with balance to be served at the court’s discretion; driver’s license suspended 30 days/restricted 150 days; $341.98 restitution; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense habitual offender dismissed.
