51st Circuit Court sentencings include OUIL, resisting police.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Robert Michael Brockwell, 47, of 4629 S. Benedict Rd., Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty Aug. 4 of third-offense operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and second-offense habitual offender. He was sentenced Oct. 13 to serve seven months up front of a one-year discretionary jail sentence with credit for 45 days served; work release must meet Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) guidelines; 18 months probation; $1,108 in fines and costs; 60 days community service; and vehicle immobilization for one year.

Lopez

Carlos Martin Lopez, 23, of 512 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 17 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police. He was sentenced Oct. 13 to serve 73 days up front of a one-year discretionary jail sentence with credit for 73 days served; 18 months probation; and $458 in fines and costs.
