At 1:30 p.m. Safe Harbor Credit Union staff will take their float through downtown Ludington and kids in costumes are welcome to join. The route will go from the courthouse west on Ludington Avenue to Rath Avenue and then north to the parking lot and back east to James Street Plaza.

Downtown businesses will be handing out candy at their locations following the parade.

“The Safe Harbor staff is always excited for this event each year,” said Kyle Gurzynski, manager of Ludington’s Safe Harbor Credit Union. “Every year we get a larger turnout than the year before and it’s always nice to give something back to the community that the kids and their families can enjoy at no cost! Our entire staff volunteers their time for a variety of different events throughout the year, but the Halloween Parade is definitely one the best. It’s awesome seeing what type of creative costumes family make for their kids, or the kids come up with on their own. Hopefully we have nice weather so everyone can enjoy the event.”
