CUSTER TWP. — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a larceny of services reported Saturday, Oct. 10, at 4:20 p.m. on South Custer Road involving two individuals who refused to pay for a guided fishing trip on the Pere Marquette River.

In a separate incident, the Hart post of the Michigan State Police was dispatched to the 7300 block of Stiles Road Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 p.m. for a malicious destruction of property (MDOP) complaint in which 10 pumpkins were smashed.

3:43 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, Jebavy Dr. and Rasmussen Rd., PM Twp. A vehicle operated by a 24-year-old Scottville woman pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Ludington woman. Both women were injured in the crash.
