LUDINGTON — The employees of Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital were given the opportunity to view some of the health care system’s emergency preparedness resources Wednesday during an emergency preparedness fair at the hospital.

The event included a demonstration of the multi-patient decontamination tent, along with one of the health system’s K-9 units, which are used for security and also for patient pet therapy. A critical incident stress management expert was also on hand to discuss with employees the hospital’s ability to assist employees in time of high stress.

In the video, Jeffrey Weber, Spectrum Health emergency preparedness coordinator for Ludington, Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals, talks about the fair.
