Motorcyclist hospitalized after striking deer

SUMMIT TWP. — A 32-year-old Ludington man was injured after the motorcycle he was operating struck a deer Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 4:22 a.m. on US-31 near Meisenheimer Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. He was treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
