PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 47-year-old Muskegon man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday, Sept. 6, at 3:35 p.m. on the northbound lane of the US-31 freeway near the Chauvez Road overpass, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
He failed to make a curve, and his 1996 Harley Davidson entered the grass median and overturned, ejecting him from the bike. He was transported to Spectrum Health/Ludington Hospital by Life EMS and then flown to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids by AeroMed.
