51st Circuit Court sentencings include attempted harboring felons, probation violation

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Nicholas Thomas Lange, 28, of 5623 Riverview Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty June 24 of attempted harboring felons. He was sentenced Aug. 11 to one year in jail; serve three months up front/balance to be served at the court’s discretion; work release allowed/must meet Mason County Sheriff’s Office guidelines; 18 months probation; and $558 in fines and costs. One count of harboring felons was dismissed.

Dustin James Horn, 20, of 407 ½ E. Melendy St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 11 of probation violation and sentenced one year and 10 months to 10 years in prison with credit for one year served in jail; $3,724 in restitution; and $398 in fines and costs. In a separate file, he was found guilty Aug. 11 of probation violation and sentenced to one year and 10 months to 10 years in prison with credit for 378 days served in jail; $504.35 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs. His probation stems from two separate convictions on Sept. 25, 2012 of breaking and entering a building with intent. The sentences are concurrent, and his probation is revoked.
