Police seek runaway

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 15-year-old boy who ran away Saturday night, Aug. 15, is still missing as of late Monday morning, Aug. 17, and the Mason County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding the boy.

Jessie Colin Reid, a 5’9” white male with brown hair has a date of birth of Sept. 30, 1999. Jessie was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and jean shorts.

The runaway complaint was taken at the Mason County Fairgrounds. Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said Jessie called his mother when she was at the fair at around 10 p.m. Saturday from a blocked number and told her he was not coming home.

Jessie has a history of running away from home. “He does this quite often,” Cole said.

Anyone with information regarding Jessie’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
