wscc logoVICTORY TOWNSHIP – There’s still time to choose classes for the upcoming fall semester at West Shore Community College.

New students can get their paperwork started and sign up for orientation and pre-advised returning students can receive advising and register for classes on the spot.

Open advising sessions and registration have been scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on August 17 and 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. on August 19 and 25, and from 9 a.m. to noon on August 31.

The College offers many programs of study that lead to either a two-year associate degree or a shorter-term certificate. Most credits easily transfer to a number of four-year colleges and universities, and tuition is only $91 a credit for residents of the college district.

In addition to the Scottville campus, courses are also offered at the Manistee County Education Center, and now in Baldwin and Hart.

There are also many online courses offered by the college or through Michigan Colleges Online. These courses allow students to do much of the coursework and lectures at home with limited visits to campus for testing and labs.

All students seeking financial aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, also commonly referred to as FAFSA. Information about the FAFSA can be found at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Those with questions about the financial aid process can contact the WSCC Financial Aid office.

Class and online course schedules can be viewed under the “Course search” tab on my.westshore.edu.
