Free movies continue in Ludington and Scottville.

Looking for some free night time, family friendly entertainment the next few weeks? Both Ludington and Scottville feature outdoor movies.

Ludington’s Movies in the Park series continues the next three Thursdays at City Park with “Paddington” playing this week followed by “Big Hero 6” on August 20 and “Dolphin Tale 2” on August 27.

Scottville’s Friday Night Movies at the Shell continue this week with “The Boxtrolls” at the Scottville Clown Band Shell and “The Lego Movie” on Friday, August 21 (make up date for last week’s rain cancelation).

All the movies begin at dusk, which is shortly after 9 p.m.

Ludington City Park is located along Ludington Avenue west of House of Flavors. The Scottville Clown Band Shell is located next to the Scottville Optimist Hall behind West Shore Bank.

Popcorn and other refreshments are for sale at both events and proceeds help area youth programs.
