“The Lego Movie” playing at Scottville free Friday night movie series.

SCOTTVILLE — The second movie in the Scottville Clown Band Shell Free Friday Night Movie Series continues this Friday, August 7. This week’s featured film is the animated hit “The Lego Movie.”

The movie begins at dusk, about 9:15 p.m. with live music on stage beginning at 8 p.m.

Movie goers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and bug spray. Warmer clothes may also be a good idea, as nights are starting to get cooler. The Scottville Optimist Club will be selling refreshments including popcorn, caramel corn, cotton candy and pop. Proceeds help area youth.

Next week’s movie will be “The Boxtrolls.”
