Minor injuries in Ludington crash.

IMG_6224LUDINGTON — A 75-year-old Ludington woman received minor injuries after the vehicle she was a passenger in was involved in a crash at the intersection of Rath Avenue and Loomis Street Wednesday about 3:50 p.m.

The crash occurred when a Dodge Grand Caravan driven by a 75-year-old Ludington woman was east on Loomis Street, stopped at a stop sign and then proceeded through the intersection in the path of a northbound Dodge Stratus driven by a 59-year-old Ludington man.

The Stratus broadsided the passenger side of the minivan, causing the injuries to its passenger.

The driver of the minivan was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way by Ludington Police Department. Also responding to the scene were Ludington Fire Department and Life EMS ambulance.
