Man uses vulgarities towards victim at courthouse, ends up in jail

LUDINGTON — A 29-year-old Ludington man, who appeared for a domestic violence trial Monday morning, July 13, was arrested for violating his bond after he allegedly made vulgar statements to the victim, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The man was set to stand trial on a charge of domestic violence at 10:15 a.m., but the trial was rescheduled. “As he walked from the courtroom, he turned to the victim and stated vulgarities,” according to the sheriff. “He was ordered back before the judge by the original investigating deputy and found in violation of his bond. He is lodged in the Mason County Jail.”
