Muskegon man arrested for ‘rolling domestic’ on US-31

SUMMIT TWP. — A 48-year-old Muskegon man was arrested Friday morning, July 10, on charges of domestic violence and an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Muskegon County after Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to several reports of a “rolling domestic” involving a male reportedly assaulting a female as they drove down the U.S.-31 freeway. An MCSO deputy spotted the vehicle and made traffic stop at 8:34 a.m.

Friday, July 10, 2015:

– 12:30 a.m., fireworks, Virnetta Drive and Rath Avenue, Pere Marquette Twp.

– 3:19 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US-10 and Schoenherr Road, Branch Twp.

– 5:48 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Hogenson and Meisenheimer roads, Riverton Twp.

– 8:10 a.m., a 49-year-old Victory Township man and a 21-year-old Fountain man were arrested on multiple felony counts following a seven-month investigation. Related story here

– 12:11 p.m., identity theft, 3700 block of E. First Street, Custer Twp., unknown party attempted to use the victim’s driver’s license and social security numbers to apply for unemployment in another area.

– 8:34 p.m, a 38-year-old Ludington man was arrested in the lobby of the sheriff’s office for probation violation, City of Ludington.

– 9 p.m., a 39-year-old Fountain man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following reports of reckless ORVs in the road. The suspect was stopped as a result of the investigation and arrested, Ford Lake Dr. and Pinto Ct., Sheridan Twp.
