Teens arrested for violating probation

The following is local law enforcement activity from Wednesday, July 8, 2015:

– 2:56 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 19-year-old Custer man and 17-year-old Ludington man were both arrested on charges of probation violation following an incident in the 3800 block of N. Tuttle Rd., Sherman Twp. The 19-year-old was also arrested for minor in possession (MIP) of alcohol. Both were lodged.

– 11:44 a.m., (MCSO), trespassing, 1600 block of S. Lakeshore, Pere Marquette Twp., case closed.

– 12:06 p.m., (MCSO) two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US-10 and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 1:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), traffic policing for a derailed train blocking the roadway, First St. and PM Hwy., PM Twp.

– 6:40 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Michigan and West, Village of Free Soil.

– 8:29 p.m., (MSP), civil dispute, 8000 block of N. Mill St., Free Soil Twp.

– 10:30 p.m., (MCSO), harassment, 8100 block of E. Johnson, Branch Twp., case closed.
