Motorcyclist injured in U.S. 10 crash.

us10_pm_hwy_motorcycle crashPERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 63-year-old Ludington man was injured after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at the intersection of U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Highway Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred about 3:50 p.m. after the westbound motorcycle was attempting to make a left-handed turn south onto Pere Marquette Highway and collided with an eastbound car driven by a 67-year-old Ludington man.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by ambulance. The other driver did not seek medical attention.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Pere Marquette Fire Department and Life EMS ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
