LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Herbert Jason Golnick III, 34, of 1089 Lancer Lane, Apt. 30, Ludington, was found guilty June 3 of malicious use of telecommunications services. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail; $738 in fines and costs; six months discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim. One count of bribing/intimidating/interfering with a witness and one count of using a computer to commit a crime were dismissed.

– Brooklyn Marie Buck, 21, of 904 N. Washington Ave., Apt. C7, Ludington, was found guilty May 28 of disorderly conduct – fighting. She was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for six months; no contact with victim; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Leigha Nicole Wambach, 21, of 608 E. Dowland St., Ludington, was found guilty May 28 of disorderly conduct – fighting. She was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Taurino Ramirez-Gonzalez, 31, of 4197 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Ludington, was found guilty June 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $335 in fines and costs.

– Mark Mackenzie Nichols, 23, of 8250 E. Johnson Rd., Scottville, was found guilty May 27 of unlicensed dog and sentenced to $205 in fines in costs and must prove to court that dog has shots and is licensed.

– Michael Kenneth Frey, 23, of 4357 S. Yale, Baldwin, was found guilty May 29 of disorderly person – public intoxication. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS dismissed.

– Arthur Lee Jackson, 56, of 709 ½ E. Foster St., Ludington, was found guilty May 27 of disorderly – trespassing/illegal entry. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $285 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; may consume “near beer”; and must attend AA twice a week.

– Juan Antonio Jobbins-Ortiz, 18, of 602 S. Madison St., Ludington, was found guilty May 27 of driving while unlicensed/never applied. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $275 in fines and costs; and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Deshawn Erik Latimer, 28, of 915 E. Maple St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was found guilty June 2 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to $905 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend Hands Down program and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and no contact with the victim.

– Terry Teen Clancy, 36, of 1631 W. Sugar Grove Rd., Ludington, was found guilty May 28 of improper plates – failure to transfer and sentenced to $175 in fines and costs.

– Michael Stanley Kubiak, 63, of 501 5th St., Ludington, was found guilty June 4 of possessing a fish without a license and sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Taylor Meredith Luft, 21, of 306 N. Lewis St., Ludington, was found guilty June 4 of disorderly conduct – fighting. She was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim.

– Dolly Marie Little, 37, of 3520 E. US-10, Custer, was found guilty June 2 of larceny less than $200. She was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $200 in fines and costs.

– Matias Nicolas Eufracio, 24, of 430 Francis St., Richmond, Ky., was found guilty June 4 of driving while unlicensed/never applied. He was sentenced to 12 days in jail; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Luke Thomas Murawski, 38, of 208 E. Foster St., Apt. B, Ludington, was found guilty June 2 of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $738 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 30 days; one year discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests.

– Daniel David Smith AKA Plumpton, 29, of 8349 S. James Rd. Baldwin, was found guilty June 2 of malicious destruction of personal property. He was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for four days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with the victims; and $665 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.

– Steven Michael Greiner, 59, of 2555 S. Evergreen Dr., White Cloud, was found guilty June 2 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $1,070 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE) – completed; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel (VIP). Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Scott David McDonald, 30, of 4235 N. Beaune Rd., Ludington, was found guilty June 2 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; interlock device on vehicle for six months; $1,230 in fines and costs; must attend Impact Weekend and follow requirements; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Michael John Abbe, 42, of 603 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty May 29 of possessing a fish without a license and sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– James Lee Seal, 25, of 401 N. Thomas St., Scottville, was found guilty June 2 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 21 days in jail; must report July 2 unless he resides out of the area; must inform the court of new address; must attend anger management; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victim; and $665 in fines and costs.

– Michael James Kelch, 26, of 155 Ferry St., Shelby, was found guilty June 2 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next VIP session; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and must attend AA twice week. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Bernard Evan Hixson III, 66, of 916 N. Pine Ridge Dr., Ludington, was found guilty June 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to $335 fines and costs.

– Frank Bernard Florka, 43, of 6752 Maple Rd., Ludington, was found guilty May 24 of trespassing. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $265 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim.

Dismissals

– Anthony Jay Greco, 46, of 506 N. Main St., Scottville, one count of domestic violence dismissed June 5. “Case cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt,” court records state.

– Ismael Lopez, 17, of 309 E. Danaher St., Ludington, one count of minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) was dismissed May 26 on the motion of the prosecutor, according to court records.
