79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

– Laurie Lynn Bell, 50, of 408 N. James St., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested May 27 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of first-degree retail fraud and second-offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: June 10 at 3 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

– Shawn William Paul, 45, of 1310 N. Rath Ave., Ludington, was arrested May 30 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of third-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Probable cause hearing: June 10 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Misdemeanors

– John Joseph McCann, 49, of 1954 Tall Oaks Dr. E., Ludington, was arrested May 31 by MCSO for misdemeanors of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: June 29 at 11 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Albert Jia Ho, 33, of 4807 S. Ashland Ave., #201, Chicago, was arrested May 31 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of malicious destruction of personal property. Pretrial hearing: June 22 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Brandon John Moran, 27, of 1963 Victor Corner Rd., Ludington, was arrested May 28 by LPD for a misdemeanor of malicious destruction of a building less than $200. Pretrial: June 15 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Chancey Norman Medema, Jr., 41, of 9184 E. Kinney Rd., Branch, was arrested May 23 by the Michigan State Police, Hart post (MSP) for a misdemeanor of failure to maintain security. Pretrial: June 15 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Olivia Danielle Hunter, 22, of 502 N. Rowe St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested May 28 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Pretrial: June 15 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Hazel Lera Duncil, 70, of 301 E. Court St., Apt. 110, Ludington, was arrested May 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: June 15 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Kelly Jo Thompson, 44, of 570 E. Hoague Rd., Free Soil, was arrested May 27 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-offense domestic violence. Pretrial: June 15 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Timothy John Devers, 52, of 614 E. Dowland St., Ludington, was arrested May 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Pretrial: June 22 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Katherine Joy Devers, 52, of 614 E. Dowland St., Ludington, was arrested May 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of controlled substance, possession of marijuana. Pretrial: June 22 at 11:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Denyse Dale Willoughby, 40, of 308 N. Rowe St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was arrested May 31 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Pretrial: June 22 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Willie Edwards Wilson, Jr., 40, of 1731 Lindval, Lansing, was arrested May 31 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: June 22 at 11 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
