Preparing for a tornado.

LUDINGTON — Employees and citizens at the Mason County Courthouse participated in a statewide tornado drill this afternoon. “The most important success of the day was all of the conversations about emergency preparedness,” said Liz Reimink, Mason County emergency management coordinator. “While this drill focused on tornados and severe winds, everyone was sharing ideas about how to be better prepared in general. This drill started the conversations in the County, and I hope the emergency preparedness will continue at home with their families and friends.”
