LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Timothy Shane McClelland, 26, of 15283 Wallin Rd., Thompsonville, was found guilty March 25 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 39 days in jail with credit for 39 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $568.28 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Eric William McClelland, 25, of 10451 Grey Fox Dr., Interlochen, was found guilty March 25 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to 39 days in jail with credit for 39 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $568.28 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Frederick Kenneth Rawlings, 63, of 5713 Iris Rd., Ludington, was found guilty March 23 of disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $285 in fines and costs.

– Lisa Marie Castonia, 36, of 606 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was found guilty March 23 of false information to police officer and sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $275 in fines and costs.

– Lisa Marie Castonia, 36, of 606 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was found guilty March 23 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to $335 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.

– Benjamin Lloyd Parker, 30, of 612 N. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington, was found guilty March 26 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $335 in fines and costs.

– Kelly Marie Jason, 27, of 26154 Woodingham, Warren., Mich., was found guilty March 25 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

– John Wesley Hluchan, 24, of 2304 S. Burdick, Apt. 1, Kalamazoo, was found guilty March 25 of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and controlled substance, use of a non-narcotic. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served for each count; $1,040 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; one year discretionary jail for two years for each count; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); drug tests twice a week; and driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 30 days. Two counts of controlled substance, possession of analogues, were dismissed.

– Shannon Murphy Stalsonburg, 36, of 2471 Appleton Dr., NE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty March 25 of two counts of assault and battery and sentenced to $800 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year for each each count; must obtain anger management counseling and report completion to the court; no contact with the victim; and $800 in fines and costs. One count of assault by strangulation was dismissed.

– David Lawrence Strandberg, 38, of 606 E. Whittier St., Ludington, was found guilty March 24 of disorderly person – jostling. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with victims; and $925 in fines and costs.

– William Giles Pennington, (age unavailable), of 7 W Concord, Athens, W. Va., was found guilty March 26 of driver transporting open intoxicants and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Haven Marie, Mikolajczyk, 23, of 3886 N. US-31, Scottville, was found guilty March 24 of operating while impaired by liquor. She was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $870 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel (VIP); and subject to random PBTs and drug tests. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Israel Flores, Jr., 38, of 102 E. Whitter St., Ludington, was found guilty March of driving while license expired and sentenced to $225 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Dennis Victor Klompstra, 64, of 6454 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was found guilty March 24 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; AHSE (completed); $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend next session of VIP. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Dylan Matthew Singer, 22, of 3757 N. Reek Rd., Lot 1, Fountain, was found guilty March 25 of DWLS and sentenced to $135 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kendra Lee Luthy, 31, of 4011 N. Jebavy Dr., was found guilty March 24 of operating while impaired. She was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; $1,230 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend Impact Weekend and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of PBT refusal dismissed.

– Gabriel Allen Rivera, 24, of 724 N. Delia St., Ludington, was found guilty March 24 of operating while impaired. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $870 in fines and costs; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of VIP; subject to random PBTs; and must attend AA twice a week. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Lance Earl Conley, 35, of 222 First St., Elberta, was found guilty March 30 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Daniel Leon King, 32, of 909 Washington, Ludington, was found guilty March 24 of controlled substance, use of a non-narcotic. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail; $960 in fines and costs; driver’s license suspended for one year/restricted after 30 days; one year discretionary jail for two years; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs and drug tests. Conviction reportable to SOS. Counts of controlled substance, possession of analogues; possession of marijuana; and habitual offender, second conviction, were dismissed.

– Patrick Gohnseng Wilson, 22, of 701 Wall St., Manistee, was found guilty March 23 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to $335 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.

– Michael Kenneth Frey, 24, of 4357 Yale Rd., Baldwin, was found guilty March 30 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Daniel Leigh McWilliams, 31, of 1777 W. First St., Scottville, one count of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, was dismissed March 26. “Defendant has entered into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement. The ends of justice do not require further prosecution at this time,” court records state.

– Jared Hunter Billings, 20, of 212 Melendy St., Ludington, one count of reckless driving was dismissed March 19. “Defendant has paid restitution in full. The ends of justice do not require further prosecution,” court records state.

– David Lawrence Strandberg, 38, of 606 E. Whittier St., Ludington, one count of domestic violence and one count of assault and battery were dismissed March 24. “The case was dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor with prejudice,” court records state.
