Suspect arrested for larceny at car wash, 3 warrants

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 21-year-old Ludington man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for larceny from a building and on three outstanding warrants after deputies responded to a larceny of money complaint at West Coast Car Wash on South PM Hwy. Wednesday, April 1, at 8:40 a.m.

The suspect was wanted on a criminal bench warrant for contempt of court issued by MCSO with a bond of $9,540, and two criminal bench warrants for failure to appear issued by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police with bonds of $170 and $313.

Other MCSO activity Wednesday, April 1, 2015 includes:

– 7:41 p.m., a 27-year-old Custer man was arrested on an outstanding Friend of the Court warrant issued in Calhoun County, 3700 block of Sugar Grove, Sherman Twp.

– 8:29 p.m., a 53-year-old Plainwell man was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Prairieville Township, charging him with failure to appear and failure to pay fines and costs for a fleeing and eluding conviction, 600 block of N. Lakeshore, City of Ludington.

– 9:41 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US-31 and Beyer, Sherman Twp.

– 10:30 p.m., a 35-year-old Fountain man was arrested for aggravated domestic assault following a 911 call from a residence, 5100 block of N. William, Village of Fountain.
