Ludington man arrested for absconding parole

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — A 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Tuesday, March 24, at 1:14 a.m. following a traffic stop at Pere Marquette Highway and Hesslund on two outstanding warrants — parole absconder on an original home invasion charge and damaged property issued by the Ludington Police Department (LPD).

Other law enforcement activity Tuesday, March 24, 2015 includes:

– 5:33 a.m., a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop on three outstanding warrants at Lakeshore and Ludington Avenue in the City of Ludington. Warrants include: failure to pay fines and costs on an original charge of open intoxicants issued by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP); failure to pay fines and costs on an original charge second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) issued by MSP and failure to appear for a traffic offense issued by the the Manistee Police Department.

– 8:41 a.m., (LPD) criminal sexual conduct (CSC), 600 block of N. Lakeshore Dr.

– 2:39 p.m., (MCSO), a 22-year-old Fountain woman was cited for DWLS following a two-vehicle crash with no injuries, Hansen and Stiles, Amber Twp.

– 3:38 p.m., (LPD), breaking and entering, 1000 block of Pineway.

– 6:40 p.m., (MSP), car-deer crash, Lincoln and Groth, Hamlin Twp.
