Sheriff: drunk driver with .34 blood alcohol level arrested

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — With an alleged blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit, a 44-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving while license suspended (DWLS) Saturday, March 14, at 8:52 p.m. on PM Highway and Conrad Road following a traffic stop by deputies from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The suspect’s chemical test revealed a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .34, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

She was cited by MCSO for no operator’s license/never applied, hit and run, and improper registration.

– 1:12 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call from a residence in the 5800 block of W. Dewey, Hamlin Twp.

– 6:29 p.m, (MCSO), a 28-year-old Muskegon Heights man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of Lyrica (schedule 5) following a traffic stop, US-31 Freeway and PM Hwy., PM Twp.
