79th District Court sentencings

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– Teresa Marie Gee, 19, of 402 Fourth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, was found guilty March 9 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served;; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $335 in fines and costs. Must not operate any vehicles until license is clear through the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Eduardo Guerrero, Jr., 34, of 98 Ferry St., Apt. 3, Shelby, was found guilty March 9 of driving while license suspended (DWLS). He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $285 in fines and costs; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Joseph Thomas Williams, 23, of 7357 126th Ave., Hart, pleaded no contest March 9 to failure to report and accident. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $325 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved.

– Laurie Lynn Bell, 50, of 408 N. James St., Apt. 3, Ludington, pleaded no contest March 10  to third-degree retail fraud and sentenced to 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served.

Dismissals

– David Mercier Fulton, 65, of 4970 N. Stephens Rd., Fountain, one count of larceny in a building was dismissed March 4. “Defendant has been placed on a prosecutor’s deferment,” court records state.

– Annette L. Espinosa, 46, no address listed, one count of domestic violence was dismissed March 9. “Per prosecutor’s deferment agreement with consent of alleged victim,” court records state.
