Scottville commission to meet today, to review goals.

March 2, 2015

SCOTTVILLE — City Commission will hold its regular bi-monthly meeting today at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.

The commissioners are expected to discuss the on-going topic of the city’s role in paying for private sewer grinder pumps. While city attorney Tracy Thompson has drafted an agreement between the city and homeowners, there are still questions that were raised preventing the action to proceed.

The commissioners are also expected to renew the city’s annual agreement with Thompson, Thompson and Glanville attorneys to represent the city’s legal affairs.

City Commission will also review the goals it established during a work session two weeks ago.

Also, City Manager Amy Williams has announced that she will be taking off from work following last week’s death of her mother. She said she plans to spend time with her father during their mourning.

The commission meets at 5:30 p.m.
