A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Friday. Inland temperatures have dropped to 10 to 15 below zero. Added winds mean wind chills even lower. Frostbite for exposed skin can set in within 30 minutes or less. Hypothermia can result from prolonged exposure to extreme cold. Snow covered and slippery roads are also present.
