Oakview’s Lamm promoted to assistant nursing home administrator.

LUDINGTON — Jannice Lamm has been promoted to Oakview Medical Care Facility’s assistant nursing home administrator. Lamm has worked at Oakview for almost 20 years. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University. After completing her recreational therapy degree with minors in gerontology and psychology she worked in Gaylord and then in Saginaw before moving to Ludington and taking the position as director of therapeutic and recreational services at Oakview Medical Care Facility in June of 1995.

According to a press release from Oakview, Lamm was an integral part of developing and designing the Sutter Living Center, an Alzheimer’s/special needs unit of Oakview.  Upon completion Lamm was given the responsibility of director of the Sutter Living Center along with her duties as director of recreational and therapeutic services. 

She recently completed and passed the tests required for obtaining an administrator’s license.

“Working with and helping the elderly is my passion,” Lamm said.  “The joy felt in knowing you are making a difference in someone’s life is beyond imaginable.”
