MCC students learn by demonstrating.

SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central seventh grade social studies students recently participated in a project based learning study of Asia. The students were given an essential question in which they had to answer and then demonstrate.

Teacher Phil Quinlan said the students were given the freedom to choose how they would demonstrate the answer. He added that teaching others is statistically proven to be a valuable retention method.
