Scottville man arrested for assault

SCOTTVILLE — A 24-year-old Scottville man was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1:50 p.m. by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for assaulting a 50-year-old Fountain man stemming from an incident on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 7:39 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main Street.

– 7:34 a.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, Jebavy and Breckenridge, Hamlin Twp.

– 2:39 p.m., vehicle/tree crash, no injuries, Taylor and Decker, Sheridan Twp.

– 7:13 p.m., assault, walk-in at Spectrum Health/Ludington Hospital, unknown location, victim refused to co-operate.

– 11:19 p.m., assist to Scottville PD, 200 block of Crowley, City of Scottville.
