Winter library activities.

The Mason County District Library is offering weekly children’s activities this winter:

Ludington Branch:

Monday at 4 p.m.: Creative Kids. Self-directed arts and crafts, games, and puzzles.

Tuesday at 4 p.m.: Creative Kids: Arts and crafts with Miss Karen.

First Wednesday at 4 p.m.: Discovery Club – Students in grades 2-5 are invited to explore our world through books, games, art, and other activities with retired teacher Kathy Radtke.

Wednesday at 4 p.m.: Games Galore. Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to enjoy board games, card games, video games and legos.

Thursday at 4 p.m.: Fit Club. Stories, games, crafts, and activities to encourage physical fitness and good nutrition led by Mrs. Ashley.  Students age 7 and older are invited.

Friday at 4 p.m.: Creative Kids – Self-directed arts and crafts, games, and puzzles.

Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:  Creative Kids. Self-directed arts and crafts, games, and puzzles.

Saturday 1 to 4 p.m.: Block Party: Create with Legos.

Scottville Branch:

Wednesday at 4 p.m.: Fun Club. Stories, games, crafts, and activities with Mrs. Ashley.  Students age 7 and older are invited.

First Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m.: Family Fun Craft. Drop in any time between 3 and 5:30 p.m. for creative fun for the whole family.

For Preschoolers:

Ludington Branch:

Monday at 10 a.m.: Happy Feet!, a preschool music and movement program.  Toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers are invited to drop in for active fun.

Tuesday at 10 a.m.: Preschool Story Time. Toddlers, preschoolers, and their Caregivers are invited to enjoy rhymes, finger plays, songs, stories and crafts with Miss Sue.

Wednesday at 10 a.m.: Preschool Story Time. Toddlers, preschoolers, and their Caregivers are invited to enjoy rhymes, finger plays, songs, stories and crafts with Miss Sue.

Thursday at 10 a.m.: Preschool Story Time. Toddlers, preschoolers, and their Caregivers are invited to enjoy rhymes, finger plays, songs, stories and crafts with Miss Tammy.

Scottville Branch:

Wednesday at 10 a.m.: Preschool Story Time. Toddlers, preschoolers, and their Caregivers are invited to enjoy rhymes, finger plays, songs, stories and crafts with Miss Robin.

All Mason County District Library programs are free.  Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
